Earagail Arts Festival is a bilingual (Irish and English language), multidisciplinary arts festival which takes place each July throughout County Donegal along the Wild Atlantic Way on the North West coast of Ireland.
From the 4th – 23rd July 2017 this iconic festival will be on the road from West to North Donegal, with a host of new productions from award-winning local and international artists. Earagail Arts Festival brings inspiring performers to this captivating European frontier, showcases artists native to the area and provides opportunities for cultural exchange, in venues from purpose built theatres and galleries, to village halls, forests and beaches, creating a unique cultural experience in the most unlikely of magical places.
Over the past 28 years the festival has produced a rich vein of collaborations and partnerships including Toumani Diabate and Liam O’ Maonlai, Donal Lunny and Cor Thaobh a Leithid, The Henry Girls with The Fox Hunt, Victor Gama and An Cosan Glas, Fidil and Solo Cissokho, to name but a few.
Our diverse programme reaches out across the county, from Ardara to Arranmore, Malin to Magheroarty, so wherever you are staying you will be able to enjoy a feast of entertainment located in the heart of one of Ireland’s most outstanding areas of natural beauty, the hidden gem in the Irish crown.
